Douro Valley day tour!
Excellent trip to the Douro in a very comfortable people mover. Led by Norberto we could not have asked for more. Excellent driving, information delivered in an easy and comfortable manner, great attention to detail, very inclusive and a pleasure to have spent our day with him. Went to fabulous places. Amazing tour through Douro valley!
We had one of the best experiences on our tour with Norberto through the Douro valley. He picked our group up from Porto then took us to this adorable town where he grew up called Amarante. They had some very interesting pastries there as well. Then we left to our first winery, a smaller one in the valley, where we got to taste 60 year old white port – seriously the best port I’ve ever had! Then we went to an authentic Portuguese lunch in a charming town, on to a gorgeous viewpoint, and river cruise. Last we went to one of the bigger wineries along the river which had it’s own orange and lemon trees that they let us taste from. Throughout Norberto was an amazing guide – answering all our questions and even providing his own dessert wine at the viewpoint! We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would definitely book again if in this area again.

Wonderful day!
Norberto loves his country and its culture. This passion showed in our day long tour of the Douro Valley from Porto. We covered a lot of ground but in a nicely paced and well narrated way. He stopped at all the best spots for photos, picked great local spots for tastings and made great recommendations for food.

Highlight of our visit to Portugal
We loved the tour of the Doro Valley, and it easily was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. Norberto was wonderful – polite, knowledgeable, and funny. We would definitely do it again!

Tour and wine tasting with lunch and river cruise.
This tour was great. Norbert, our tour guide, was awesome. Very informative and attentive.

Norberto was an excellent guide who made our family feel very comfortable all day. He shared a vast knowledge about the region, wine and travel experience with us all day. He made my two daughters ages 9 and 11 feel right at home. The balance of the tours between the different kinds of winery’s, boat ride, lunch and driving was a perfect balance. Peaceful yet never boring. I would highly recommend this tour and Norberto to anyone! A private tour is most certainly the way to go as a family or small group.

This was the highlight of our trip to Portugal! Not only was Norberto extremely knowledgeable but he took steps to make the tour extra special. Norberto was fantastic!
My group of friends had a private day tour to Douro Valley and absolutely loved it and him! He was very professional, nice and easy to get along with. It was so nice to see a few small towns/wineries on the tour as well to get a feel of the area and people. The itinerary he put together worked perfectly for us and i highly recommend working with him. We included him in the boat tour and lunch – just shows how much we got along! Wonderful day with Norberto. Great company and very knowledgeable. His choice of vineyard to visit was so lovely and the tasting very delicious. From our pick up in the morning to our return in the evening, it was pure pleasure. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves wine, food and beautiful scenery.
