Cross one of the Longest Suspension Bridges of the World, walk the Paiva Walkways, visit Aveiro, the so called Venice of Portugal, and Costa Nova!
The Paiva Walkways is a stunning 7 km boardwalk zig-zagging down along the left bank of Paiva river at Arouca Geopark, a UNESCO Geological site.
Will you dare? Cross one of the Longest Suspension Footbridge in the World called Arouca 516! It spans 516m-long (1,692ft) across the valley and hangs 175m (576ft) above the Paiva River.
After the walk, another highlight of our day: a delicious meal at a typical restaurant! (meat, fish or vegetarian options available)
Time to enjoy a relaxed afternoon at the so called “Portuguese Venice” – the beautiful city of Aveiro!
We’ll explore the old quarter, wander through the main squares, see the fish market and taste one of city’s delicacies: sweet-eggs!
Once in Aveiro, a boat trip over the canals is a must do! You`ll board on a “moliceiro” – the traditional river boats – and discover the charming city through the canals.
Last but not the least, the famous haystacks of Costa Nova! See the magnificent fishing village with its wooden houses in bright striped colors.

What a fantastic experience! It’s a must see. Well worth the money. Traditional Portuguese Lunch was delicious!
This was the best thing I did during my time in Porto! Norberto was an excellent host, providing us with clear details of the trip up front and detailing the history of the places we visited. He was also very patient and engaging at all times. This full-day excursion allowed us to see some not-so-common tourist locations that were just as beautiful as the city of Porto. Bring proper walking shoes and lots of water, and enjoy the views. Fantastic! A must for your visit to Porto.

Passeio que contou com a ponte Arouca 516, Passadiços do Paiva e Aveiro. O Norberto nosso guia é uma pessoa excepcional, muito inteligente, agradável e conhece todos os destinos como a palma da mão. Van de transporte super confortável, almoço típico em Arouca excelente e todos os passeios foram muito bons. Amamos. Estávamos em família com 4 adultos e 3 crianças de 7,9 e 11 anos.

Such an amazing day! What was suppose to be torrential rain cleared up into the best adventure, with the perfect weather and few to little other tourists. Thoroughly enjoyed our guide Ricardo, loved the suspension bridge which has an amazing view, the walkways which were clear of tourists and gorgeous, and Aveiro and the boat tour. I also thought lunch was a nice touch, so was the little surprise snack as well as the little gift from the boat tour. Highly recommend, it was the highlight of our time in Porto.

This was a great experience! The scenery is amazing and I like the way this tour allowed you to see so much, with both countryside and small towns. Norberto was a great host and everything was very well planned and timed. It was a great value for all we were able to see and do!
