Aveiro, the so called “Portuguese Venice”, is quite different from any other city in this country. It is a colorful, charming and romantic city, and strolling through the “little Venice” canals onboard of a “moliceiro” – the traditional boats – will make it memorable and unique!
Before heading Coimbra, we’ll visit Costa Nova, the magnificent fishing village with wooden houses in bright striped colors. A must see!
By being someone passionate about history, I’ll make sure Coimbra will be an unforgettable experience for you. We’ll wander around the old quarter and walk up the medieval streets. Arriving at the University, the oldest in this country and official residence of our first King, you’ll embrace an historical epic tour!
Besides the Royal Palace, and S. Michael Chapel, I’ll also guide you through the Joanina Library: a masterpiece of the Baroque style and one of the most beautiful and valuable libraries in the world!

Norberto was a great companion on our tour of Coimbra and Aveiro. He took special care of our needs, and there was never a dull moment in our conversations along the way. I highly recommend Norberto as a tour guide during anyone’s stay in Porto, Portugal.
Norberto drove us six ladies from Lisbon to Porto with a full day tour along the way. He was a great tour guide, excellent company, and kept us all awake (while we fought off jetlag) with intelligent conversation about Portugal, Europe, Africa and beyond! He joined us for an authentic Portuguese lunch in Aveiro, and even organized a canal ride. Such a charming man. We cannot recommend him highly enough!
The best way to visit two beautiful towns!
We had an excellent time! We visited Aveiro, Costa Nova and Coimbra. The tour description on the site is very accurate and Norberto is a great guide and a great guy! We felt like we are having a tour by a local friend, and by the end of the day we felt like we had made a new friend. We enjoyed the tour, the moliceiro ride in Aveiro, the lunch at a local restaurant, and the beautiful town of Coimbra. We would definitely recommend this tour!
Amazing tours from Porto!
Our group of 5 people from Canada booked with Norberto for transport and tours for several days while in Portugal and I feel he made my trip to Portugal! I can’t express enough how enjoyable and relaxed our holiday was with him. We met him in Coimbra where he provided a walking tour for us and transported us to our accommodation in Porto. He provided us with very personalized tours of all we wanted to see for the next 3 days including a hike, a cave tour, Port wine tours and tastings and the beautiful Douro Valley, taking us to the most beautiful spots in the valley in the most comfortable and efficient way. He also added some unforgettable gems to the itinerary once he had a chance to know our group and I am so grateful! I feel like we saw so much for a very reasonable cost, including places that I hadn’t even read about! Every detail was taken care of and all went off without a hitch! Even with all of the arrangements, Norberto was always pleasant, relaxed and so personable despite some very long days with our group. His passion for his country and the personal touches he added made me fall in love with this area of Portugal. Saying goodbye to Norberto at the end was like saying goodbye to a friend. We were so impressed that we have already begun planning our next adventure with his amazing family run, local company!

Norberto increíble, con su saber hacer y como hacernos sentir integrados y cómodas en el viaje.Cuando nos despedimos es como si dejásemos allí a un amigo.
Lo primero que me gustó y por lo que los elegí fué, que respondía a mis correos pronto y lo hacia de una forma cercana y personalizada. No era una maquina como muchos de los demás tours que contestan lo mismo.
Luego, intenta hacer los tours con personas de la misma nacionalidad, eso hace que todo el mundo al hablar el mismo idioma se relacionen antes y nadie se quede separado del grupo por hablar un idioma diferente. Esto es muy importante.
Por último , Norberto como guía es excelente, te hace ser participe de todo, se implica y te explica todo con mucho entusiasmo. Se nota que le encanta lo que hace y disfruta cuando ve que los demás le seguimos. ¡¡¡ Muy bien por ti !!! .
Aveiro es preciosa con sus casas de colores y el paseo por su ria muy agradable. Comimos muy bien, la comida casera de Portugal y Norberto nos acompañó haciendola muy divertida. Nos reimos mucho

Coimbra me encantó , la biblioteca ¡¡¡impresionante !! que te evoca a otros tiempos e imaginas a los 25000 estudiantes que suelen haber por esas calles.
Se me han quedado muchas cosas por ver, así que con toda seguridad volveré y volveré a contactar con Norberto y seguir disfrutando de ese maravilloso Oporto.
Entre mis bonitos recuerdos van a estar las increíbles vistas y mi tour de Aveiro y Coimbra.

Fué un tour completamente personalizado. Nos encantó todo lo que vimos. Norberto nos contó muchas cosas muy interesantes y en Coímbra nos hizo sentir el ambiente universitario como si lo hubiéramos vivido.
