Ennetours is a Travel Agency that offers enne different tourism services and products. Although we have the classic tours of one or several days, hiking or even expeditions to other countries, we would not be complete if we were not an inclusive project.

WE ARE THE FIRST COMPANY IN PORTO AND NORTHERN PORTUGAL THAT OFFERS ADAPTED AND ACCESSIBLE TOURS, THOUGHT AND PREPARED EXCLUSIVELY FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY.

Unfortunately, there is still a lot of work to do on what it concerns to equality in accessibility in Portugal. However, in recent years, much has been done to make public and private premises accessible to everyone. Therefore, chosen with the necessary rigor, we designed tours that are suitable for people with special needs in terms of mobility.

We provide guided tours specially designed for this context. It can be half day tours, full day tours or multi day’s tours/holidays. The tours can be organized in the whole country: Porto, Douro, Aveiro, Braga, Guimarães, Coimbra, Lisbon or Algarve. You can follow our suggestions (look at the following tabs), or you can suggest your own tour. You just have to tell us what you wish to do and we’ll get it done for you.

About me:

Who am I? My name is Norberto, I am a tour guide and I have experience working with people with reduced mobility, disability or cerebral palsy. I worked as a Live-in Care Assistant, in UK, with people with different kind of needs, taking care of and helping in their daily routine and promoting their own independence. So, besides being your local guide, you can also count on my experience, knowledge and sensitivity to your needs.

Half Day Tour in Porto Downtown Historic Center

What do we suggest this day? The accessible monuments and follow a route that includes the main interesting points of Porto downtown.

Thus, it is possible to visit São Bento Train Station, where you will see the magnificent art in tiles, the Liberdade Square, the Clérigos Church, Ribeira, a Unesco heritage site, the Gaia quay, which offers a spectacular view of Porto downtown, a Port wine Cellar, where you`ll have the opportunity to visit and do some wine tastings.

Then, by cable car, we will go up to the Luis I bridge and visit one of the most extraordinary viewpoints over the city. Afterwards, we`ll cross the upper deck of Luis I bridge, visit the area of the Oporto Cathedral and walk along one of the most beautiful and bustling streets of the city.

Full day Tour to Porto City

On a full day tour, you will visit not only the city historic center, but also the part of the city that lies on the sea. You will go to S. Bento Train Station, where you will see the magnificent art in tiles, the Liberdade Square, the Clérigos Church, Ribeira, a Unesco heritage site, the Gaia quay, which offers a spectacular view of Porto downtown, a Port wine Cellar, where you`ll have the opportunity to visit and do some wine tastings.

Then, by cable car, we will go up to the Luis I bridge and visit one of the most extraordinary viewpoints over the city. Afterwards, we`ll cross the upper deck of Luis I bridge, visit the area of the Oporto Cathedral.

After lunch, we’ll wander around the city. You will visit Foz do Porto and Passeio Alegre, where Douro River meets the Atlantic Ocean, the House of Music and Serralves Museum, an icon of modern art. Within all the options, you can consider other museums that can be visited, such as the tram museum or Soares dos Reis museum. If you love football, FC Porto stadium and museum can be a good option as well. These are indicative programs. They can always be changed by suggestion.

Braga and Guimarães Tour

These are two cities with an important role in the construction of the Portuguese identity, as a nation and  religion. Guimarães is the cradle of the Portuguese nation. Braga – ancient Roman city called Bracara Augusta – is over 2000 years old and is one of the oldest Christian cities in the world.

We will start by visiting Guimarães, its historical center, the castle’s surroundings and visiting the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança. Then we will go the cable car to the Penha Sanctuary and observe the Guimarães from above.

After lunch, we will visit the oldest cathedral in Portugal: the Sé of Braga, wander through the city center streets and visit the sanctuaries of Bom Jesus and Sameiro, where you will appreciate the views over the city of Braga from an amazing viewpoint.

Douro Valley Tour

Let’s start our day with a short stop in one of the most beautiful and charming towns in the north of the country – the charming town of Amarante.

The geography of the Douro Valley, with its vineyards worked over the centuries by the human hand, is unique in the world and surprises the most demanding look. The assorted viewpoints over the river and over the vineyards will prove it.

You will visit two Port Wine Estates and have the opportunity to taste some Port wines, and and travel along the best road in the world to drive – the N222, which won the first place for World Best Driving Road.

One of the ex-libris of the day is a boat trip on the river Douro, with the surroundings of the valley and its vineyards.

Aveiro Tour

This is a tour dedicated to the Portuguese sea heritage. You will meet the center of the beautiful city of Aveiro, also known as the Portuguese Venice, taste one of the delicacies of the city – the sweet-eggs and take a boat ride in a moliceiro by the canals of Aveiro river, in the style of Venice gondolas.

You will wander in the magnificent fishing village of Costa Nova and enjoy a delicious traditional lunch.

After lunch, it’s time to visit the Museum of the Sea, to see the biggest codfish aquarium in the world and learn about the Portuguese connection to this fish. Portugal is the largest consumer of cod in the world!

Coimbra and Fátima Tour

Fatima Sanctuary is the most important place of pilgrimage and faith in Portugal. Every year, more than 6 million people visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima. It is a place of great respect, a sacred ground where faith and pray takes the highest emotional feelings. Fatima became one of the largest sanctuaries in the world.

Coimbra was the first capital of Portugal, which emphasizes its historical importance in the construction and diffusion of the Portuguese language and culture but, nowadays, it is well known as the student’s city.  The University of Coimbra is a World Heritage Site. We will visit the University and the Joanina Library, one of the most beautiful in the world.
