Aveiro, Pasadizos del Paiva & Puente Arouca 516

Un día impresionante!
Un día moi completo e variado, para os que os goste a natureza pasaréis unha mañá rodeado de preciosas vistas , atravesaréis unha (ou dúas 😉😉) pontes colgantes e disfrutaréis un paseo estupendo polas pasarelas. Despois dunha comida caseira, visitaréis Aveiro e Costa Nova e haréis un paseito en barco moliceiro. Todo con un guía estupendo (Ricardo no noso caso), que os contará moitas cousas interesantes e coidará en todo momento de vós. Non podedes perder este tour, se vais a Porto.

I am more than happy with how this trip went! 😃 Ricardo was our guide and he was polite, thoughtful and organized. All the schedule was perfect, magical landscapes, great choice for lunch, comfy transport and lots of fun. So far, best Airbnb experience I’ve had and great way to spend the day! 10/10!!

Incredible Day!
This excursion was the highlight of our vacation. Roberto was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his country and its people. During the drive he taught us many things about the city and countryside. He made sure there were several opportunities to use restrooms and checked in on us throughout the hike. He took us to a restaurant in a small village that served the absolute best meal of the entire week. Then, we traveled to another beautiful town for a boat ride theough it’s beautiful canals. Everything about this day was perfect. The group size was perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Fantastic tour, we saw so many beautiful sites! I highly recommend if you aren’t deathly afraid of heights. Little gifts throughout was a nice touch. Another side of Portugal!

Simply an amazing time. So much beauty and the guide was amazing!

Paiva Walkways is a must-see experience!
Great experience to start the vacation! If you like nature and a good hike, we can highly recommend the Paiva Walkways. We got a lot of lovely pictures, had a great talk through the whole walk which was nearly 8 km long. We were 8 people in total on the trip, but divided quickly into the couples we were, with our own different paces. The Footbridge was also a highly appreciated experience. My husband is a bit afraid of heights, but found the bridge to be more interesting than frightening to walk over – as long as he didn’t look down 😉 The visit to the fishing village Aveiro and rest of the tour was also interesting, but we especially loved the start of the tour with the nature and bridge involved. The lunch at the small family restaurant was terrific! Excellent food and an amazing tasting experience. After this day trip we were filled with new experiences and great food. Can highly recommend it. Will definitely return to the Paiva Walkways.

A great day tour from Porto. We were picked up right outside our apartment. The suspension bridge is super cool and the Paiva walkway has beautiful views and was a nice way to be active on vacation. You definitely earn your lunch afterwards. Make sure you wear comfy shoes! Aviera canal boat tour was fun too. Highly recommend

Wonderful way to see some beautiful landmarks outside of just central Porto. The suspension bridge is very cool, the walk is enjoyable, and Aveiro is a very cute town. It is a very long and potentially hot day so bring plenty of water. Not for someone who runs out of energy quickly but we loved it. Seeing some of the local areas was another plus. Norberto had some wonderful stories of his travels that added to the experience.

Norberto es un gran profesional y se nota en cada detalle. Tanto la información previa al día del tour, con la coordinación para la cita, ropa y calzado recomendado, botella de agua, posibilidad de marearse debido al sinuoso trazado de algunas carreteras y llevar pastillas para evitar esa posibilidad… Ya en el tour, la información ha sido continua en dos idiomas, la planificación de los puntos de parada y dónde era mejor iniciar la larga caminata del puente en suspensión de Arouca y luego la larga caminata siguiendo los meandros del río Paiva… Su interés porque las personas de más edad pudiéramos seguir la caminata sin apurar más allá de nuestra limitada energía remanente… Nos llevó a comer a un restaurante típico recomendando una carne muy bien cocinada y excelente vino… Asímismo, la visita a la bella villa de Aveiro con las recomendaciones de rigor o la última parada para hacer fotos en la Villa Nova… Pero lo mejor de Norberto, sin duda, es su cercanía, manteniendo el respeto, por supuesto, pero iniciando una complicidad que es como si nos conociéramos de toda la vida. Su sentido del humor, esas ganas de contagiar el entusiasmo de alguien que ama a su tierra y que no se limita a hacer un trabajo de corte profesional, si no que quiere que sus clientes disfruten lo máximo que se puede disfrutar e incluso dando consejos para tener un estancia mucho más agradable en Oporto y su área cercana en los días siguientes al tour. ¡Muito obrigado, Norberto!

This was an awesome experience! Norberto was easy to communicate with prior to the trip. Ricardo was a lovely driver and guide – accommodated all of the languages spoken by the passengers, always made sure we were comfortable throughout the whole day, and adapted quickly when unforeseen delays occurred. The views on the bridge and the walkway were amazing, and definitely makes this so worth it. The restaurant served a lot of food, they were a bit behind and Ricardo ended up helping them serve us to move things along. I wish we could’ve spent more time in Aveiro/Costa Nova but it was a great chance to see a little bit of both towns and the boat tour was very informative and interesting!
