Vamos a descubrir Coimbra, ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad, y Aveiro, conocida como la Venecia portuguesa.
Aveiro es una ciudad de belleza singular. Queda plantada en la costa atlântica y su ría llena la ciudad de una belleza impar. Va a hacer un paseo por los canales de la ría a bordo de un “moliceiro”- los barcos tradicionales, donde será explicado la importancia histórica de la ría para la ciudad.
Vamos caminar por la parte antigua y ver los principales edificios emblemáticos de Arte Nueva, el mercado del pescado y probar una de las especialidades de la doçaria tradicional: los huevos confitados de Aveiro.
No podía dejar Aveiro sin visitar la Costa Nueva. La essência de mar también está bien marcada en este magnífico pueblo de pescadores con las distintas casas de rayas coloridas.
De seguida, partimos para Coimbra. Una vez en el centro de la ciudad, vamos a almorzar en un restaurante tradicional. Después, iniciamos nuestra visita por las calles del casco antíguo y por la Iglesia de Santa Cruz, donde yace el primer Rey Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques.
Vamos a subir las calles medievales, pasar por la Puerta y Torre de la Almedina, por la fantástica Sé Vieja de Coimbra hasta llegar á la Universidad, Patrimonio de la Humanidad.
Después, entraremos en una epopeia histórica al visitar el Paço de las Escuelas, el Palacio Real, la Capilla de San Miguel y una de las más bellas y valiosas bibliotecas del mundo – la Biblioteca Joanina.

Norberto drove us six ladies from Lisbon to Porto with a full day tour along the way. He was a great tour guide, excellent company, and kept us all awake (while we fought off jetlag) with intelligent conversation about Portugal, Europe, Africa and beyond! He joined us for an authentic Portuguese lunch in Aveiro, and even organized a canal ride. Such a charming man. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

We had an excellent time! We visited Aveiro, Costa Nova and Coimbra. The tour description on the site is very accurate and Norberto is a great guide and a great guy! We felt like we are having a tour by a local friend, and by the end of the day we felt like we had made a new friend. We enjoyed the tour, the moliceiro ride in Aveiro, the lunch at a local restaurant, and the beautiful town of Coimbra. We would definitely recommend this tour!
