Duas cidades tipicamente portuguesas. Aveiro, cidade de mar, é conhecida como a Veneza portuguesa. Coimbra, antiga capital do reino, é hoje a cidade dos estudantes.
Aveiro é uma cidade de beleza singular. Fica plantada na costa atlântica e a sua ria enche a cidade de uma beleza ímpar. Vai fazer um passeio pelos canais da cidade a bordo de um “moliceiro”- os barcos tradicionais, onde será explicado a importância histórica da ria para a cidade.
Caminharemos pela parte antiga para ver os principais edifícios emblemáticos de Arte Nova, o mercado do peixe e provar uma das iguarias da doçaria tradicional: os ovos-moles.
Não podíamos deixar Aveiro sem visitar a Costa Nova. A essência portuguesa de mar também está bem vincada nesta magnífica vila de pescadores com as casas de riscas coloridas lindíssimas.
De seguida, partimos para Coimbra. Uma vez no centro da cidade, vamos almoçar num restaurante tradicional. Depois, iniciamos a nossa visita pelas ruas do centro histórico e pela Igreja de Santa Cruz, onde jaz o primeiro rei de Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques.
Coimbra teve uma significante importância histórica na construção e difusão da língua e cultura portuguesas e, hoje, é como cidade dos estudantes que com orgulho se apresenta.
Vamos subir as ruas medievais, passar pela Porta e Torre da Almedina, pela fantástica Sé Velha de Coimbra, até chegarmos á Universidade de Coimbra, Património da Humanidade.
Depois, vamos entrar numa epopeia histórica ao visitar o Paço das Escolas, o Palácio Real, a Capela de S. Miguel e uma das mais belas e valiosas bibliotecas do mundo – a Biblioteca Joanina.

Itinerário detalhado
– Este tour tem início às 09:00 da manhã e vamos dirigir-nos a Aveiro;
– Centro de Aveiro e prova de ovos-moles;
– Passeio de barco na ria de Aveiro;
– Costa Nova – vila de pescadores;
– De seguida, dirigimo-nos para Coimbra, para um almoço tradicional;
– Passeio pelo centro da cidade e visita à Igreja de Santa Cruz;
– Porta da Barbacã, Torre da Almedina e Sé Velha de Coimbra;
– Universidade de Coimbra: Paço das Escolas, Palácio Real, Capela de S. Miguel e a Biblioteca Joanina;
– Regresso ao hotel/alojamento no Porto.

Norberto drove us six ladies from Lisbon to Porto with a full day tour along the way. He was a great tour guide, excellent company, and kept us all awake (while we fought off jetlag) with intelligent conversation about Portugal, Europe, Africa and beyond! He joined us for an authentic Portuguese lunch in Aveiro, and even organized a canal ride. Such a charming man. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

We had an excellent time! We visited Aveiro, Costa Nova and Coimbra. The tour description on the site is very accurate and Norberto is a great guide and a great guy! We felt like we are having a tour by a local friend, and by the end of the day we felt like we had made a new friend. We enjoyed the tour, the moliceiro ride in Aveiro, the lunch at a local restaurant, and the beautiful town of Coimbra. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Our group of 5 people from Canada booked with Norberto for transport and tours for several days while in Portugal and I feel he made my trip to Portugal! I can’t express enough how enjoyable and relaxed our holiday was with him. We met him in Coimbra where he provided a walking tour for us and transported us to our accommodation in Porto. He provided us with very personalized tours of all we wanted to see for the next 3 days including a hike, a cave tour, Port wine tours and tastings and the beautiful Douro Valley, taking us to the most beautiful spots in the valley in the most comfortable and efficient way. He also added some unforgettable gems to the itinerary once he had a chance to know our group and I am so grateful! I feel like we saw so much for a very reasonable cost, including places that I hadn’t even read about! Every detail was taken care of and all went off without a hitch! Even with all of the arrangements, Norberto was always pleasant, relaxed and so personable despite some very long days with our group. His passion for his country and the personal touches he added made me fall in love with this area of Portugal. Saying goodbye to Norberto at the end was like saying goodbye to a friend. We were so impressed that we have already begun planning our next adventure with his amazing family run, local company!
