Incredible memories!
Best trip ever in Portugal. The trip is really well-organised and the time dedicated for each activity was more than enough to enjoy every place. Norberto and his explanations couldnt be better, he is totally dedicated with his job and Im sure every passanger will feel home with him. We started with the bridge (incredible!), then the Paiva walkways (about 8 km with a easy walk, the views were amazing, mountain down, next to the river) and after that, we went to a classic restaurant from that area, the meat was really good. In the afternoon we went to Costa Nova and Aveiro, both are touristic places where you can take nice pictures and enjoy the river’s view. We will repeat with no doubt.
A great way to experience a day trip from Porto. Excellent from the start with the convenience of pick-up, knowledge of our guide and hospitality of everyone overall. Highly recommended. The only thing–if enjoying this excursion during the summer (July/Aug.), beware it is HOT (100+F/38+C and a full 8KM/5mile hike. Bring plenty of water; one (large) bottle of water was not enough per person and there was no opportunity to refill; we had to start rationing water with a lot of breaks. I wish we had known this, as we would have purchased more water on the ride during one of our bathroom stops. This was the only reason I rated Good instead of Excellent.
Amazing day!
Ricardo, our guide, was excellent! Friendly and always wanting the best for us. He was where he said he would be, when he said he would be. Wonderful, kind person who I would gladly travel with again.
The trip had a great pace and we saw a lot in one day.
Our lunch spot was amazing! The food was wonderful and the resturant service fantastic.
It was a great day!
Ricardo was our guide and he was wonderful. He was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. We had a great time!
Felipe was our driver and guide for the day and he was absolutely fantastic. There were 8 people in the whole group and half only spoke Spanish. Felipe repeated everything the whole day in English and Spanish, made sure we were comfortable and had a good time, and took extra care to make sure we understood everything. It was such an amazing experience that also included so much! The price tag seemed a bit hefty at first for me but with the suspension bridge, the nature hike, the transportation, a three course meal, boat ride in Aveiro, and other stops for sightseeing, it was more than worth the price. Highly recommend!!!
Ricardo was a friendly, informative tour guide who was very in tune with the needs of the group. There was so many moments packed into this experience. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.
A wonderful day!
This was a wonderful day, I booked it because it looked nice in the pictures and I have wanted to do something outside in nature, The experience exceeded all my expectations, we had a fabulous guide both knowledgeable and helpful, and the views were spectacular, ending the day in Aveiro was perfect and most enjoyable.
If warm weather, be sure to bring Sunblock, water, and wear comfortable clothing. The walkways are mostly in direct sun. Views are spectacular!
A great day out – don’t miss it.
Prompt pick-up from our hotel by Felipe who was funny, informative and untiring. The weather was bad, drizzle developing into rain, but Felipe produced waterproof ponchos for everyone for the walkways and footbridge. Due to mist, there wasn’t much to see during the drive, and there was a lot of driving, but Felipe said that the views were great in good weather. This was easy to believe as the roads wound through hills, woods and villages in between our destinations. The footbridge and walkways were the perfect way to see some beautiful landscape and the lunch at the end was very good. Aveiro was beautiful – don’t do the tour without taking in this town and surroundings. We got huge amounts of information from Felipe and the lovely lady on the canal boat – definitely the best tour we did on our trip to Porto.
Great trip! Well structured!
Filipe did a great job of informing us of the program and options that allowed each participant to do as much or as little as desired. Bridge was amazing and the 7K walk was beautiful. Our group of 8 all gelled and we had great conversations and lots of laughs!
Great tour!
This is a long day but well worth it. We’ll never forget walking across the Arouca views. I thought I’d be terrified but it’s very stable and I’m so happy I pushed forward. The walk down the mountain was a beautiful easy trek through nature. The included lunch was the best meal I had in Portugal hands down. Ricardo was an excellent and knowledgeable guide.
