Great day trip!
Joao was a great guide. He made sure everyone was having a good time. He taught us a lot about Portugal and the towns we were visiting. The suspension bridge was amazing. The walkways were fun and the scenery was pretty. We really enjoyed visiting Costa Nova and Aveiro. Lunch stop was good too. They accommodated food preferences and the food was delicious and plentiful.
Exhilarating full day tour!
We got so much more than we expected! The friendly driver gave us a great overview of the day – the bridge and walkways were great ( though very slippery) – lunch was fantastic – and we even had time for a relaxing port spritzer before heading home
What a great way to enjoy a day trip from Porto!
We loved that it was a small and flexible group of other travelers. Luis was fantastic as our guide- he provided great information, safe and efficient transport and kept us all together. One of the parts we enjoyed most about the day was visiting his town and enjoying the most delicious lunch there. It was quite lovely to do something more local. The suspension bridge and the walkways was a unique way to enjoy this part of Portugal. Aveiro was charming and the time we had there was perfect. If you want to explore outside of Porto, we highly recommend this tour!
Suspension bridge and nature walk
Our guide was most knowledgeable. He provided great insights and historical facts regarding both the country of Portugal as well as the specific areas we visited. The walk across the suspension bridge was spectacular and the walking trail was most enjoyable. I think seeing it in the off season (late January) with less people made it more enjoyable
Take this tour!
This tour is for the hiker, nature lover, and historian. Overall this was a great tour. Excellent service, very casual, highly informative and great use of time. This tour is very accommodating to people who speak different languages and who have different needs. Lunch was fabulous and included. Highly recommend!
AMAZING!!!
Amazing adventure! Gorgeous countryside! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the local history. A delicious lunch was provided. The Aveiro boat ride was ok. I would highly recommend this adventure and would do again in a heartbeat.
João was a fantastic guide and this tour was definitely a once in a life time experience. The walkways were a bit slippery and I ended up falling down like 6 times, while I was falling for the 5th time I thought to myself that it was still worth it…yes it was that amazing! The guide was wonderful and took me to a pharmacy and translated to get me some meds for my bruised knee. So please be careful on the pathways if you’re going after it’s rained. But again everything from the bridge to the walkways to Aveiro was wonderful and I could not recommend doing this enough.
The tour guide was amazing! It was a great tour to learn about portugal’s history, gastronomy, and culture.
Omg, this was amazing! The guide, the people, the places, the food. If you are single, or a couple, or a group of friends, you will love it! A am so happy that I have the chance to see the real Portugal with a local lovely pal. Deffinately best day in Portugal for me
Our guide was excellent, very informative. The stops in Arouca and Averió was very beautiful and fun.
