Aveiro, Passadiços do Paiva & Ponte Arouca 516

Ultimate experience!
Ricardo was a very attentive and gracious host! The walk across the bridges and on the pathways was
amazing. Authentic lunch and canal boat ride really completed the day. Highly recommend this day trip
to see more of the area!

The weather was not in our favour for this trip BUT when we met Ricardo he was so energetic and positive that this would change! The drive wasn’t that long, we arrived at the 516 bridge and we were so lucky to be the only ones there. The views are breathtaking and you are fully submerged in the country side! Ricardo came very prepared with ponchos and umbrellas. He was incredibly thoughtful and kind, whilst informing us about the history of not only the attractions but Portugal as-well. He is without any doubt the best tour guide leaders we have met. Paiva walkways we’re my favourite! Again, we were extremely lucky to be the only ones there in our group. The views along the way are changing and breathtaking! We saw so much wildlife and the river running through was stunning, me and my partner were certainly taking our time taking it all in! This is definitely a MUST do tour to be apart of, this made our first trip to Porto very special!

Our guide was knowledgeable, provided information and just took good care of us throughout the day. The Arouca area was beautiful and I’m glad I experienced it. You do have to be prepared to walk 5-6 miles.

What a fantastic day!
The rain and wind added to the drama of walking over the suspension bridge! The lunch was fabulous with meat that fell apart at the touch of your fork. Aveiro tour was great too dispite the rain. Ricardo was a fantastic tour guide and I loved the small group tour. If you are looking for adventure outside the city, this is your tour!! You will have a fantastic spectacular day.

Great trip to discovery Porto area with amaizing nature and culture of Aveiro city and fishing village. Very professional tour guide and service.

A must try experience!
Walking along the Arouca 516 bridge was an amazing experience as well as great views. Also navigating along the Paiva walkways was a unique experience!
