Aveiro, Passadiços do Paiva & Ponte Arouca 516

This was a great tour. I had a wonderful time. I was able to maximize my experience of the Paiva Walkways, Averie, and Costa Nova without feeling rushed. Lunch was excellent, topping on the cake 🙂

Norberto was such a great and nice host and guide. He knows a lot about the places we saw and did a great job by organizing the program after the walk. It was overall a very good tour to spend a day! I highly recommend him!

This experience was awesome to have through Norberto as we couldn’t have effectively done this by ourselves as tourists. Having a host drive us from Porto the the Paiva Walkways was incredibly helpful as renting a car and dong it all ourselves would have been time consuming and daunting. Being able to learn in detail about where we were going and its significance was helpful as well as the information about the region and places we drove through. Norberto’s outgoing personality and great knowledge about the region and country, as well as worldly topics, made the driving portions fun and informative. The walkways themselves were gorgeous and the nature we went through was beautiful. It was great to see some nature after many days in the city. The meal after the walkway was also great as we were very hungry and the meal itself was authentic and fun to experience, let alone delicious as well as the wine. More great conversation was had over the meal including honest and informative conversations about Portugal and its history. It was great to experience the history from someone who is so knowledgable and passionate about it. The afternoon tour of Aveiro was pleasant and nice. a contrast to the active morning.

What a spectacular day! Our family really enjoyed the day. Norberto was very friendly and engaging. The walk was beautiful, the lunch was delicious and the sightseeing / boat ride was very interesting. We would not hesitate to book this excursion again. A definite highlight of our trip!

In the beginning of the walkways there is a long stairway up. Our tour guide Norberto gave us moral support to make it to the top of the stairs. After the stairs it was a nice walk down towards the end of the walkways. If you like nature and beautiful scenery you should take this tour.

An amazing day. A hike with great views; delicious lunch at local establishment; walked around a fishing village and ended with a dessert and ride in the canal. Could not have done this on my own. Drove from one activity to the next. Well thought out activities. Worth while experience.

Fabulous day out of Porto!
Norberto collected us promptly from our hotel . There ere 7 people in the tour. His black minivan is beautifully cleaned and spacious. He offered us all bottled water several times during our day trip. The Paiva walkway was wonderful…a lot of stairs which we were all glad with Norberto’s decision to start at the hardest bit of the walkway- the stairs while we all had energy to tackle them. He walked with us through the hardest part then set us off on our own along the walkway, then met us at the end with the car and drinks…perfect! We then went for a traditional lunch in a village which was delicious and where Norberto talked about family life in Portugal and the importance of meals together and the passing of tradition from generation to generation. A wonderful day out and highly recommend doing this activity if you are in Porto and want to experience the countryside of Portugal.

I contacted Norberto a few months before my arrival in Porto for this tour because I think Enne tours is the only tour agent which I know that organises Pavia Walkways + Aveiro tour in one day. And I wanted to be able to secure a place for this tour!
He’s very knowledgeable and professional, explaining to all of us on the tour many things about Portugal (the flora, weather conditions, food etc) while driving very safely all the way throughout the day trip. I feel that he’s full of passion for tourism. I think that’s a very important thing in guiding a group of tourists.
