An experience not to be missed. A walk over the Arouca Suspension bridge wonderful scenic views followed by a wooden boarded walkway through the valley for about 5.9 miles. You certainly need a reasonable level of fitness to do this and there is a lot of steps at the beginning but such a worthwhile experience and sense of achievement. Joao our guide had a fantastic knowledge of history. Our village lunch was excellent accompanied by the local vino verde. Our afternoon visit to Aveiro at the coast gave us a good insight into life there and we finished the day with a traditional boat ride on the canals. A long day but would recommend

An amazing adventure with your while
We had an amazing guide with João. He was extremely knowledgeable and fun. The day was jam packed, but each place was great. One minor complaint is that the air stopped working in the van and we were seated in the back.

Great experience! Absolutely beautiful and the lunch was very nice. The hike is strenuous so not for someone with mobile disabilities.

I had an excellent experience crossing the bridge and doing the full hike. The guide was very informative and engaging. He made sure everyone was comfortable. I would definitely recommend him.

Wir hatten trotz einigen Regenschauern einen tollen Tag mit unserem Guide João. Die Tour ist Top organisiert und ohne viel Steigung für jeden halbwegs mobilen machbar. Es ist keine Massenabfertigung und sehr informativ gewesen. Auf der Brücke sind keine Regenschirme gestattet und ausreichend Wasser mitnehmen.
