This trip was absolutely amazing, and I 1000% recommend. The tour guide is fantastic, and was so kind and informative and fun. I never imagined we could do so many things in one day and actually have a fabulous time. It was the perfect amount of physical exertion and leisure (for someone who’s not in fantastic shape). The bridge was awesome, hike was gorgeous, food delicious, and historical lessons so fun and informative. The group was the perfect size. This was the day trip of a lifetime, and I’d love to do it again. I’m recommending this trip to all my friends traveling to Portugal.

Original and stunning!
This tour is worth every penny! The guide is super friendly and eager to talk about the different places, their history and you can see he’s passionate about it.
We started the tour in an airconditioned minivan, which was comfortable.
The bridges hike was absolutely beautiful, with the hills and river all around. In total it’s an 8km walk, thankfully the guide drives you up, so that it’s only going downhill. We had the option to do half or the full path, doing the whole path is worth it as you get to observe the nature around! Make also sure to take enough water and protection against sun if you come in summer as it’s very strong!
We then had a delicious lunch, grandma style meat with vegetables.
Afterwards we went to terra nova for a short stop to take pictures of the colorfoul fishermen houses as well as Aveiro, where we got to have the boat tour whose guide was also super informative and engaging, they even gave us small gifts on the boat.
Overall I highly recommend this tour, especially if you are looking for something original to do around Porto 👌🏻

Super cool, merci au guide Ricardo de sa passion pour ce magnifique endroit et surtout d’avoir fait beaucoup d’efforts pour parler français se qui a été très agréable pour nous. Très bon repas. Malgré la route en zigzag ricardo a tout fait pour que l’on se sentent bien (fenêtre Clim,…) je recommande!

Crossing the suspension bridge was a great, thrilling experience! The views along the Paiva walkway were magnificent. Lunch at the local restaurant was delicious. Ricardo is a super friendly guide!

Don’t miss this tour!
This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. It was jam packed with activities and the main hike, the Paiva walkways and Arouca suspension bridge are not to be missed. Out tour guide was so informative and considerate. He gave our group options to consider if we didn’t want to hike the whole path. This tour is a must.

guide – friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. Lunch in Arouca was delicious too. If you
need to escape the hustle and bustle of Porto for a day, this is the perfect outing!

My daughter and I were part of a group of 8 ladies, some English and others Portugese. Joao was our guide and we all agreed that he was excellent. He switched between languages effortlessly and was not only informative but genuinely dedicated to ensuring we enjoyed our experience to the fullest. Joao’s warm personality, his knowledge of the history and geography of the area combined with his passion for it made for an unforgettable day. Highly recommend this tour and Joao personally.
PS: The traditional slow cooked veal lunch with vegetables, rice and vinho verde was superb.

Ricardo was brilliant, very informative & friendly, always ensured we all knew where & when to meet up. The suspension bridge, walkways, trip to Averio were all great & what we’d hoped for, lunch was very good too- plenty of food & drink, overall well worth the money, a fantastic day out & lots of memories.
