From Porto: Paiva Walkways & Arouca516 Suspension Bridge!

A lot of walking, but it was definitely worth it. What a beautiful excursion!

Une journée superbe au départ de Porto pour randonner tranquillement le long de la rivière Paiva sur 8 km de passerelles en bois. Repas excellent et accompagnement par un guide très sympathique.

Leuk en kleinschalig. Leuke groep. Autorit was lang maar deze werd leuk ingevuld door de gids. De brug kan een uitdaging zijn voor iemand met hoogtevrees maar is wel helemaal veilig en goed te doen. Leuke wandeling terug na de brug en goed te doen omdat deze bergaf was. De andere kant op is veel zwaarder! Het is een wandeling van 8 km die ook voor een beginner goed te doen is. Bezoek aan het dorp daarna en het proeven van de verschillende lokale gerechten was een leuke extra. Een aanrader.

L’excursion était tout simplement excellente !! Le guide Joël était génial ! Il nous apprend beaucoup de choses sur l’histoire du Portugal, il est a l’écoute, bienveillant, intéressé et intéressant. Nous avons passé la journée à découvrir des spécialités locales, des lieux locaux et des paysages somptueux !!. Je recommande vivement cette excursion.

We had an amazing day! The trek was beautiful, the views were amazing! The hang bridge was an experience I will forever cherish! But most importantly, our Guide, Ricardo was the most genuine and adorable man I have ever met! He was so polite and really treasured his work, I have never met someone as excited, humble and passionate about their work ever! He solely made the trip worth the payment which already felt cheap. Especially considering that the lunch that was included was a visit at a proper restaurant for a classical Portuguese family style lunch! So the experience deserves 10/10 and Ricardo as a guide makes the trip 12/10! Amazing! Thank you Ricardo and Ennetours for an amazing full day of excitement!

An incredible day in Arouca!
We spend an incredible day with Luis, who was an amazing guide. From his valuable explanations to the amazing view and hike in the UNESCO park to the traditional lunch with fish and vegetarian alternatives to the beautiful Arouca monastary visit, everything was perfect and we definitely recommend.

The trip was very informative and the guide (Ricardo) was super friendly and knowledgeable

The suspension bridge and Paiva walkway is beautiful and a nice break from city sight seeing. Luis, our guide talked about the history of Portugal on the ride over. The walk is about 7km (all downhill) so wear good walking shoes, with a tasty veal lunch to follow. In the afternoon, we visited the monastery in Arouca with sweets and coffee afterwards. It was a fun day and would definitely recommend.

Fabulous day in the country!
What a fabulous day! Our tour guide John (Joia???) was amazing! He gave us context for the region as he drove along with recommendations of what to do with the rest of our time. He even gave us Portuguese authors to try! The bridge and hike were beautiful as was the town. This was a great way to get out into nature.
