From Porto: Paiva Walkways & Arouca516 Suspension Bridge!

Het was een gezellige, fijne dag. De Arouca 516 brug, vond ik spannend maar eenmaal de eerste stap, voelde het OK. We wandelden op eigen tempo, op de Paiva walks. Op checkpoints zagen we onze gids.

This was a fabulous experience. Just do it!

Ricardo was the BEST guide we have had and we have had some good ones. Loved the suspension bridge, the walk and all the knowledge Ricardo passionately shared with us!!! Porto is great but it was nice to get out of the city and walk in nature:):)

E’ stata una delle mie gite preferite in Portogallo! Ricardo, la guida, e’ un ragazzo bravissimo, ci ha spiegato tante cose e si preoccupa in continuazione che tutto fosse di nostro gradimento. L’attraversamento del ponte e’ stata in assoluto la cosa piu’ bella e adrenalinica che ho fatto in vita mia. Il pranzo con
carne tipica era molto buono. Eravamo solo 8 persone quindi tutto ha funzionato tutto alla perfezione. Se mai dovessi tornare da quelle parti, ripeterei la gita. Consigliatissima

Amazing your. Will remember forever!
The bridge was amazing! The scenery is so gorgeous. We had a great sunny day. It was pretty hot though. Long walk after you cross the bridge, about 4-5 miles. But it’s downhill! There were other visitors that went uphill, our tour guide said that they probably didn’t know there is another entrance. So glad we did this tour it was our favorite among all the ones we did in Porto. Only one hour drive from the city and the lunch was one of the best lunches we had. We got the fish since we don’t eat much meat and it was delicious. Tour guide was amazing and has such great stories of his travels. Also visited a small town by the bridge and it was so charming and had great pastries. And there was a food market on Sunday when we went too. Do this trip!!

Noberto war ein sehr guter und hilfsbereiter Guide, der auf persönliche Wünsche und Belange Rücksicht nahm. Die Tour war anstrengend aber wunderschön. Es hat sich wirklich gelohnt, die vielen Kurven zum Berg zu fahren. Danke an Noberto für die Tipps, man merkt, wenn jemand seinen Job mit Leidenschaft macht.

The Suspension Bridge!
Exciting to cross the suspension bridge. It was quite fun. And we had a pleasant walk thru the gardens after the bride.

Ricardo was very kind and knowledgeable. I had a great time hiking, stopping at a cute town then lunch and returning to Porto in the afternoon. I reccomend it.

Absoloutley amazing! The trip itself was of course excellent but rhe guide as also first class. Couldn’t have done more to be helpful and friendly. Lunch was dicious, and vegetarian diets were catered for perfectly. Cannot recommend highly enough.
